About me
Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Lake District National Park, my glasswork captures the essence of the stunning landscapes that surround me. The shimmering lakes mirror the clear skies and vibrant colors of nature, while the majestic mountains stand tall, offering a dramatic backdrop that invokes a sense of wonder. Each piece reflects not only the natural elements but also the tranquility and harmony found within this idyllic setting. The gentle movement of water and the rugged terrain influence my designs, encouraging me to explore the interplay of light and texture within glass. Through my art, I aim to share the serenity and inspiration I derive from my environment, transforming the stunning vistas of lakes, mountains, and sea into unique and evocative works of art that resonate with nature's beauty.

Our Aim
In the world of handcrafted glass, each piece tells a story of love and dedication. Artists pour their hearts into the creation process, ensuring that every item is as unique as the hands that shaped it. The intricate techniques involved in fusing glass allow for a variety of stunning forms, colors, and textures, making each piece a true work of art. Unlike mass-produced glass, which can feel impersonal and uniform, these handcrafted treasures carry the mark of individuality and craftsmanship. Whether it’s a piece of jewellery, an ornament, or a functional item, the care infused into each creation not only enhances its aesthetic value but also imbues it with a sense of connection. Thus, owning a handcrafted glass piece means cherishing a unique artifact, resonating with the passion of the artisan behind it.c
Our vision
As my journey with glass has evolved over the years, I have immersed myself in a variety of techniques that have deepened my appreciation for this medium. My passion now lies in the mesmerizing art of painting with enamels on glass. This intricate process allows me to express my creativity while bringing vibrant colors and intricate designs to life. As I seek to expand my skills, I am particularly focused on producing high-end glasswork that reflects both craftsmanship and artistic vision. Each piece I create serves as a testament to my dedication and ongoing exploration within this captivating art form, and I am eager to push the boundaries of my abilities and aesthetics. Each piece can take many days to make and is built up in layers which are fired in the kiln many times, building up colour and detail, making each piece unique.

Living on a rural smallholding with my family, beloved pets, and a deep passion for glass art creates a unique and fulfilling existence. Our home is a haven shared with our three native Cumbrian fell ponies, who bring joy and companionship to our lives, along with 5 dogs and the farm cat. The breathtaking landscape that surrounds us, filled with rolling fells, tranquil lakes, and the nearby sea, serves as an endless source of inspiration. Every day offers new opportunities to explore the natural beauty that envelops us, sparking creativity and enriching our lives. This idyllic setting not only nurtures my love of glass but also fosters a sense of harmony and connection with nature and animals, making every moment truly special.
